We want to improve our communities, to protect the environment, and to find a better solution to the problems facing waste management. Technology with a purpose, not just technology for technology’s sake.
We looked at the problem without any pre-conceived notions of how it should look. We use a multi-disciplinary approach, drawing from our experiences in engineering, mining, agriculture, retail, construction, industrial pumps, sales, and technology. Having experience in many varied industries has realized the similarities and the overlap between industries and technologies.
TECHNOLOGY IS KEY
Turning waste into energy using thermo-chemical processes, with no need to reduce the moisture content of the waste. Our solution does not burn the waste, it is not incineration, gasification or pyrolysis.
A VDQ-NRG waste repurposing facility integrates several technologies including Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) and Electro-Depolymerization. End products include high-grade distillate, syngas, bio-crude oil, carbon black and other by-products. Water can be reclaimed and utilized as necessary.

Including: diapers, Styrofoam, plastic, micro-plastics, food containers, organic waste, food waste, and COVID contaminated masks and gloves.
This solution extends the life of existing landfills. Landfills are outdated and they are filling up. There is a better solution to landfills. People have been using landfills for thousands of years and the technology is not any different today than it was for our ancestors in caves. We throw our waste into a hole believing that if it is out of sight, it is out of mind.

Our throw-away society is not sustainable. Repurposing and returning materials for use is essential. The concept of a circular economy was put forward to end the scarcity of materials on earth. A circular economy is about effectively recovering the materials within the products we throw away, then bringing them back as components to be used efficiently in our industrial society.
